Season 2 – Week #12: An Empty Room with Nick Faye – “Wild Bones”

This week, we hit the halfway point in this season of the Empty Room with Nick Faye’s performance of “Wild Bones”.  Nick Faye & The Deputies are a band from the deepest depths of the Canadian Prairies (Regina, SK). They make music that sticks to your ribs, like a big plate of perogies and sour cream. They will be performing at Long Days Night Music Festival, Regina Folk Festival, and Gimli Icelandic Festival this summer before heading into the studio in November to record their third full length album.  For more information go to: www.nickfayedeputies.com.

Next week we start round two, revealing a second video from each of these 12 artists.  A new video will debut every Sunday evening and every morning CBC will play the audio from each track live on the air at 8:15am (the Morning Edition with Sheila Coles).
