Songwriter Sunday! March 11, doors open at 7:30, music at 8 pm. $5

This event is quickly developing a reputation for being an entertaining, intimate evening of music, celebrating the wealth of talent of our Canadian songwriters!  We take songwriters from various backgrounds, put them on stage in a “songwriter in the round” format, and encourage them to share with the audience their songs, and the stories behind the songs.  It’s not a workshop, you don’t have to be a songwriter to enjoy this, it’s a really special night of music and story-telling.  Each month, we feature three or four songwriters on stage, and this month, we’ve got Jeffery Straker, Megan Nash and Jenny MacDonald.  Jeffrey is well known across Canada, Megan is the voice of the Rider song, and Jenny is coming all the way from Nova Scotia!  Join us as we welcome these three talented songwriters and performers to our stage…they’ll be on from 8 pm to 9:30, with our open mic session to follow.  And it’s only $5 to get in!  Doors open at 7:30 pm.
