Creative City Centre
We will be developing a lot of the programming that will be offered at this building. In addition to the artist studio spaces on the third floor, we also have a small performance room that we will be using for music concerts, film screenings, visual art displays, and all kinds of events. We will also be using it as a workshop and classroom space. If you have an idea for a workshop or event that you would like to present at the Creative City Centre, give us a call or send us an email. Inner Circle Creative City Development Corp.
This is the umbrella non-profit organization that was established to develop the property and undertake the renovations that have resulted in the Creative City Centre. Our mandate is to transform underutilized buildings into spaces for artists to create, work, connect and live, to increase quality of life and foster community growth and prosperity. This organization is managing the top two floors of the building, dealing with tenant/landlord relations, and actively looking for other buildings in Regina that can be retrofitted for creative uses.
Regina Arts & Business Network
The Regina Arts & Business Network is a new non-profit, member-based organization established to bring the artistic and business communities together to enhance the quality of life and grow the creative economy in Regina. For more information, check out their website and then become a member!
Regina Fashion Incubator
The second floor of the Creative City Centre will be home to a new fashion design centre called the Regina Fashion Incubator. The renovations on this floor are currently in full swing, and as soon as they are completed, this section will be updated to include information on the designers and their work. We anticipate the retail section of the fashion incubator will be open for business in June 2011. When you come to the Creative City Centre for a concert, plan to come a little early to do some shopping!
