Tricia Foster, April 21, Doors at 8:30pm, $10

Montreal’s Tricia Foster is in the middle of a twenty-one day tour across the prairies and we are excited that she is making her Regina stop at the Creative City Centre on April 21st. Doors will open at 8:30 and show will start at 9:00. Tickets are $10 at the door.

About Tricia Foster:

Provocative, vulnerable, gentle, uncontrollable and wise. From one description to the next, Tricia Foster has been charming and intriguing audiences from coast to coast since the release of her debut and follow up albums 412 and Commerciale. Originally from Cochrane Ontario, she grew up in Astorville, a small town near North Bay… and she’s now trying to understand why she’s still in Montreal. Her bilingual roots allow her to express her art form in either language, sometimes even in the same song. Her passion for music and song has been with her forever. She’s traveled with it, weaving her universe with the rhythms of whatever surrounds her. She is a non-conformist who thrives on emotional roller coasters.

Tricia Foster has stories to tell, things to say, using  “urban folk” mixed with a touch of rock, funk, and a hint of rootsy hip hop as a backdrop. She’ll do it all with her unique energy, originality and an unprecedented twist!
